David graduated from high school in Gentry, AR. He received his bacherlor's degree from Central Baptist College where he played soccer for the mustangs. David met his wife Megan at CBC. Megan works a volunteer coordinator for the Innerfaith Clinic in Conway. David has served as youth pastor at other churches before coming to Mount Vernon. He also has served as worship leader for many youth and college events. David enjoys playing the guitar, golf, soccer, HALO, and He loves the Razorbacks. You may even hear David calling in to Sports Talk with Bo Mattingly in the afternoons.

Karen has the tough task of keeping our young pastors under control. Karen came on board in October of 2008. She is retired from the United States Postal service. She is married to Mark. They have two sons, Jason and John. They also have two grandchildren, Jacob and Isaac, and a granddog, Calvin. Karen loves being a grandmother.
