Ashley is a transplant to the Mount Vernon-Enola area and is originally from southern Arkansas. She graduated from Drew Central High School in Monticello and earned a bachelor’s degree at Arkansas Tech University. After teaching for several years and following her husband Bill around the southern United States with his job, she returned to education to pursue a master’s degree in Library Media & Information Technologies at the University of Central Arkansas.
